Login examples

To access Ariel Portal you have to enter username and password of your UNIMI email.
If you don't know your UNIMI email address or if you want to verify it, please look up this page: Email address search.
The UNIMI mailbox password is choosen by the user. To change it or to verify it, look up this page: Reset UNIMI password.

If you are not a UNIMI user, you can access some Ariel websites as “Ariel User”: sign up using the Ariel User Registration procedure you find in the login box.
If you are already an “Ariel User”, enter the e-mail address and password you have chosen during the Ariel registration procedure.
Have you forgotten your password or do you want to change it? Please use the Change Ariel User password procedure you find in the login box..

Authentication types:

For UNIMI students (degree courses, master, single modules)
Username: <firstname>.<surname>
User Type: @studenti.unimi.it
Password: <UNIMI email password>

For UNIMI teachers, researchers, collaborators with research grants, technical-administrative staff, phd students
Username: <firstname>.<surname>
User Type: @unimi.it
Password: <UNIMI email password>

Silsis students
Username: <firstname>.<surname>
User Type: @silsis.unimi.it
Password: <UNIMI email password>

Collaborators not UNIMI staff
Username: <firstname>.<surname>
User Type: @guest.unimi.it
Password: <UNIMI email password>

For Ariel User
Username (the e-mail address) and Password you have chosen during the Ariel registration procedure
Do not select any User Type or select "Ariel User".

If you can’t access Ariel sites despite following these instructions, please write to help.ariel@unimi.it and specify name, surname, course degree, which sites you need to access (who are the teachers and which courses you are attending).
